The dictionary of religious servants dismissed from
functions by the Communist regime contains almost 2,500 names, a remembrance of
the sufferings endured by the clerics and the students in Divinity of all confessions:
Orthodox, Catholic, Greek Catholic, Mosaic, Protestant. Empresioned by communists,
physically and spiritually tortured, "re-educated" - which is the final goal of
the communist "revolution" - they resisted and defended their faith. The book
is a useful tool for researchers, it includes biographical facts, mentioning the
number of years in detention, reason of emprisonment. As methodology, the authors
employed personal and clerical archives, edited sources and oral history.
